North Central is proud to have built a reputation as a company that can be trusted to provide quality vehicles, equipment, parts, and service to all our customers in a professional and timely manner.
Our Story
North Central Bus and Equipment began selling school buses in the early 1960’s.
Over time, North Central added to our product lines and started selling Commercial Buses as well as light and medium duty Truck Equipment. Today, we are the authorized Blue Bird and Micro Bird School Bus dealer in both MN and SD. In addition, we are authorized to sell StarTrans, and Arboc Commercial Buses as well as Forest River Vans, Driverge, BraunAbility and Abilitrax vans. North Central also carries a wide range of Truck Equipment products for all classes of work and service vehicles.

North Central operates two full service centers, maintains on call field service technicians and partners with authorize service facilities in Minnesota and the Dakotas to ensure quick resolution to any service issues. Our promise to you, our customer, is to do our very best to keep you on the road!
In addition to our service staff, we also have a knowledgeable parts department on hand to get you what you need as quickly as possible. We stock parts for all our bus and equipment product lines and, if we don’t have it, we will do our best to get it for you!
North Central is part of the St. Cloud Industrial Products Inc., or Scipi family of companies. Scipi is on of the oldest employee-owned companies in the state of Minnesota dating back to the mid-1970’s. In 2014, Scipi became 100% employee-owned.
